How to install One-half Life 2 MMOD

How to install and run the One-half Life two MMOD (2019) easily.

ii. Install Half Life 2 Update

iii. Install Source SDK 2022 Singleplayer

In Steam, hover over 'Library' and select 'Tools':

Scroll downward, right click 'Source SDK Base of operations 2022 Singleplayer' and install it:

Once installed, go back to the 'Source SDK Base 2022 Singleplayer' in your 'Tools' list, right click it and select 'Properties':

On the 'Betas' tab, click the drib down list and select 'incoming'. Then close the window:

4. Download One-half Life 2 MMOD

Go to the MMOD webpage on moddb.com:
https://world wide web.moddb.com/mods/hl2-ep2-enhased-mod

Whorl down and download the latest version of the MMOD (at the fourth dimension of writing it was v1.1):

Right click on the downloaded .zip file and choose 'Extract All' and hit enter on your keyboard to extract the file:

v. Install MMOD

In the downloaded 'Release_1.1.3' folder, go in to 'Release 1.one', and then in to 'HL2MModv1.i' and copy all 6 folders from this folder:

Go back to your Steam library, right click on 'Half Life 2' and choose 'Properties':

Click on 'Local Files' and and so 'Scan Local Files':

Click on the 'steamapps' folder:

.

Go in to the 'sourcemods' folder:

And paste the folders you lot copied before in to that folder:

Note:
Sourcemods folder and all HL2 games have to be installed on same hard bulldoze.
If you don't see a sourcemods folder you tin can merely create ane yourself, that will work fine.

IF yous accept Steam installed on i bulldoze, but games library on other drive so mmods won't show up afterward restart, here's solution:

1. Exit steam
2. IMPORTANT: Delete sourcemods folder from steam client binder
three. Hit Windows key on keyboard and blazon 'cmd', so right click command prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'
4. Type: mklink /J 'the location you have Steam and sourcemods folder' 'the location of your sourcemods binder on the drive your games are installed on'

Sample: mklink /J "C:\Programme Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods" "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\sourcemods"

Hit enter on your keyboard
